Our kennel was named in honor of our beautiful show girl - CH Givens Star Of Igdaliah, "Star."  Although we had been owned by a Dal previously, we thought it appropriate because she is where it really began for us, and it was and remains still, ALL about STAR!

Our kennel is based upon the Givens line which has been linebred on the
Igdaliah line (Bonnie Helt), specifically BISS Am/Can CH. Igdaliah's M & M Candy Cain CD, "Cain."  Cain's pedigree contains the old Coachman, Korcula and Indalane lines, and is a son of the great show dog and producer CH Count Miguel of Tuckaway, "Mickey." 

"Star" was a Cain daughter.  She was first owned, showed, and loved by Marcia & Doug Givens, only coming to us in "retirement."  She produced nine champions, which along with other Givens dogs produced the bloodlines which are found at AllStar today.

A lifelong lover of Dalmatians, I purchased my first Dal on my 21st birthday as a present for myself.  Aspen and I did everything together, and she touched many lives, but her life was not to be long.  She was gone at 16 months due to complications during routine spay surgery.  We were all devastated at this sudden loss and still miss her dearly to this day.

begun our own family of Dals.  We owe all the thanks in the world to Marcia & Doug for all of their
