May - August 2007

  • "Bala" (CH. Givens N AllStar Bala Joy) was  bred to "Tag" (CH. Snowood's Hi-Cotton Tag You're It) in August.  Puppies expected mid-October 2007.  Pet and show inquiries still welcome.  More information on their Upcoming Litter Page.

  • We had to take a respite from showing dogs during May, June, July and August in order to prepare and sell our old home in Illinois, find and move into our new home in Indiana!  Brad was promoted to a new job within his existing company (Pioneer Hi-Bred, Intl.) in Worthington, Indiana.  We completed our move to our new home in Spencer, Indiana (approximately 15 miles from Bloomington, IN - home of Indiana University) the first week of July.  We have been busy settling in and unpacking, but have plans to return to the show ring in September!

  • The "Reggie" x "Angel" puppies have gone to their new homes in June.  We have three show prospects from the litter (Emmy, Tony & Fowler) that will hit the rings this fall.  Watch to see the next generation make their debut!

April 2007:

  • "Reggie" is qualified to complete in the Dalmatian Club of America Top 20 event in Ft. Mitchell, KY (only the top 20 Dalmatians in the country for the previous year may compete) in May. Unfortunately, we are in the process of selling our home and moving, so we will not be able to attend.  However, we are EXTREMELY pleased to receive our invitation!

February 2007:

  • "Secret" takes Winners Bitch on February 23, 2007 at the International Kennel Club of Chicago cluster of show at McCormick place with Brad handling.

  • "Reggie" wins Best of Opposite Sex  on February 23, 2007 at the International Kennel Club of Chicago cluster of show at McCormick place with Brad on the end of the lead.

  • "Reggie" x "Angel" have been bred with puppies expected in mid April 2007.  Watch for more information on this upcoming litter - we should have some BEAUTIFUL moving puppies out of this sire and dam!

  • "Reggie" attends the Westminster Kennel Club dog show at Madison Square Garden in New York City!  He was a great ambassador for the breed to all those that stopped to meet and greet him at the show,   hotel and on the sidewalks of New York!  Unfortunately, a tail injury (we believe he hit his ever wagging tail in the hotel elevator the night before) on the day that Dals showed prevented him from performing his best in the show ring, but it was an amazing experience!  A special Thank You to Reggie's co-owners for enabling us to attend!    Below are some of our pictures from our trip - ENJOY!

Laurel showing Reggie -  he kept trying to wag his tail, but just couldn't due to the tail injury that morning.

We hit the BIG snow storm in Pennsylvania - we didn't know yet how BAD it was going to get before we returned to Illinois!

Brad & Reggie walking at a rest stop on I-80 in 4 inches of snow in Ohio - and oh, it got much worse!

January 2007:

  • The final counts are in and..."Reggie" finished the 2006 show season at #9 in the country (Breed) and #13 (All-Breed)!   Reggie was shown sparingly from January through August and then was campaigned from late August through early December.  We are thrilled with the results that he attained in such a short period of time being shown.  GOOD BOY BROWN DOG!
